Not much detail has emerged about Cam Newton’s reported deal with the New England Patriots, other than the fact that he is “loaded with incentives” and that Bobby Bonilla received more than the quarterback on Wednesday than this season.
We also know that New England is reportedly able to tag the 31-year-old franchise in 2021 and get an in-depth look at the breakdown of the contract.

This certainly seems like an obvious move for New England.
It is not too surprising that most of the money Newton can earn will be based on his reaching incentives, especially since he will try to prove himself after having been plagued by injuries the past two seasons.
