NFL Free Agents 2021: Top Tight End and Outrageous Linemen Still Available

The first waves of NFL free agency have begun, but the Cincinnati Bengals have already added three new faces during the legal tweak period.

Despite signing Trey Hendrixon, Chidobuzi and Mike Hilton, the Bengals still have the holes they need to fill the offense. As of Wednesday, Bengal have signed a free agent offensive lineman, though it is the largest field needed.

While many top players are off the board, there are still plenty of options for the Bengals on offense. The Bengals should still look for some tight ends and offensive linemen, especially centers / guards so they are not forced to reach the draft.

Some of the top tight ends there are Gerald Everett, Jared Cook, Trey Burton of New Orleans, Tyler Eiffert, Kyle Rudolph and Tyler Croft. The Eagles also have Zach Ertz on the trading block.

Two of those names should sound familiar, as the two Bengals were draft picks. Eiffert was the first round pick for the Bengals, and Croft was a reliable blocker.

Thanks to the New England Patriots, who picked up Jonnu Smith and Hunter Henry fast, the top tight ends in the market have already been taken. But the Bengals could get a little deeper in the tight end even after losing Kethan Carter.

The Raiders and Chiefs dumped their offensive linemen, including Rodney Hudson, Gabe Jackson, Eric Fisher and Michelle Schwartz. Other names still left include Kelechi Osmil, Russell Okung and Riley Reef. Again, the top names are off the board, as Joe Thune and Corey Linsley took massive salaries. But it would be a mistake to enter 2021 without any of the players available for the Bengals.

There is still talent. A selection of fans like Thunei is now unavailable, but still the players there will be much needed upgrades to the Bengals.

The bungalows just need to save Bur Burrow, and don’t wait until the draft is done. Fortunately, they do not have.
