The Patriots have not yet been out of the woods after the COVID-19 outbreak.
Although New England did not have any new positive tests and were able to practice yesterday, the NFL Patriots are closing the facility today, according to ESPN.
It’s not clear what caused the NFL’s decision, but it’s certainly not a good indication that the Patriots will be able to play against the Broncos on Monday night, the game was originally scheduled for today but was moved back one day due to coronavirus conditions.
A week ago, the Patriots quarterback Cam Newton’s positive test resulted in a one-day delay in the Patriots’ game in Kansas City. Cornburner Stephen Gilmore also tested positive after playing against the Chiefs. Practice squad defensive tackle Bill Murray has also tested positive.
The Broncos are currently scheduled to travel to New England today for tomorrow’s game, but this time every schedule is written in pencil, not in pencil.
