The iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max pre-orders are set to go live on Friday, November 6 at 5:00 a.m. Pacific Time, and ahead of that deadline, media sites are sharing the first impressions of the new devices.
Edge, Engage, TechCrunch And CNET Before people can buy, all Apple is able to spend a little time with the small and large iPhones of the moment. The sites aren’t offering full reviews at the moment, but were able to visit the Apple Pall location in New York to preview the new iPhones.
According to Edge, IPhone 12: Mini is “really” small by the standards of the 2020 flagship smartphone. The small size is nice to hold, and iOS “scales well into a 5.4-inch display.”
The iPhone 12 Pro Max Max is described as the “surfboard of the phone” like other Plus and Max-size devices. Despite the size, it “doesn’t feel heavy in the hand” and unfortunately, Apple isn’t taking advantage of the larger display as the Pul is not a multitasking option.
Engage Said the iPhone 12 Pro.X Max “feels heavy to hold,” but the stainless steel and glass feel more premium than the IFN 12 Mini. The pictures looked pretty good, but it was a controlled test area so there wasn’t much to salad out of my camera tests at this point.
The Mini, meanwhile, fits well in one hand and, unlike the Pro Max, was easy to use on the one hand.
CNET Because of the number of features it packs into the smaller body, the IFI Phone 12. Mini calls it the “most interesting bunch”. It felt “incredibly small” in the hand. The iPhone 12 Pro Max Max is “too big, but it’s not overseas.”
TechCrunch That said, the larger.7-inch PiPhone 12 Pro Max Max “doesn’t look exceptionally large” to anyone used for larger Android devices, the size between the Mini and Pro Max is “pronounced.” The medium size of 6.1 inches seems like a “very nice sweet spot” to most users.
Full reviews of the iPhone 12: Mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max Max are expected to come out next week, when the devices begin shipping to customers on November 13th. Those who want to pre-order will have to make Pacific at 5:00 p.m. November 6, Friday time.
