New WhatsApp conversations reveal that Mahesh Bhatt had contact with Rhea Chakraborty on the day Sushant Singh Rajput died

Mahesh Bhatt is closely linked to Rhea Chakraborty, following recent talks between them. According to a transcript of interviews accessed by Times Now, Rhea Chakraborty had apparently informed filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt on June 8 that she was leaving her friend, late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. New messages exchanged between Mahesh Bhatt and Rhea, accessible through a news portal, show that the filmmaker had tried to make contact with Rhea on the day Sushant died. Mahesh Bhatt had allegedly asked Rhea to call him on June 14 at 2.35pm, post he had also tried to call the actress, but the calls went unanswered. The report also stated that on June 15, a day after Sushant died, Mahesh Bhatt Rhea sent a WhatsApp forward.

According to the screenshot of Rhea and Mahesh Bhatt’s WhatsApp conversation of June 8, the actress Bhatt had messages, “Aisha moves to..sir..with a heavy heart and sense of relief.” Aisha was the name of the character of Rhea in the release of ‘Jalebi’ in 2018, co-produced by Mahesh Bhatt. She followed it up with messages that read, “Our last call was an alarm clock” and “You are my angel You were then And you are now”. While Mahesh Bhatt had responded via two separate messages, “Do not look back. Make it possible what is inevitable” and “My love for your father. He will be a happy man”.

Following the Supreme Court’s order this week, the CBI has taken over the investigation into the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. Yesterday, they were dragged to Bandra’s police station because they took Sushant’s case, mobile phone and laptop.
