New trailers: Bridgeton, Palmer and more

Hi, I’m Jay! I keep your general trailers guide Kim Lyons in mind when it comes to taking a well-deserved holiday break. I am really looking forward to writing this post. Trailers are fun! They’re like stingy-sized movies.

Unfortunately, there weren’t a ton of trailers to choose from this week. I don’t think the studio wants to launch big trailers for the next blockbuster anytime soon before everyone leaves for the holidays. But there are still a lot of good ones left, including a series trailer that will air on Netflix this weekend. Enjoy.

Bridgeton

Bridgeton The show’s next British period drama is Rhymes for Netflix, the first series as a result of its mega-deal with Netflix. It seems to hit many of the expected high points of period drama, such as the emerging relationship between two people from high society, lots of weird one-liners and extravagant settings, dancing and costumes. And I’m sure Rhymes ’performance will make the show even more compelling. Bridgeton Will be released on Netflix on December 25th.

Palmer

Palmer Justin Timberlake is trying to recreate his life after being in prison. Soon after returning home, he begins to take care of the little boy, Sam, whose mother has disappeared. The movie seems to focus on how the two will help each other overcome their difficulties. The film will be released on January 29 on Apple Plus TV Plus.

Nomadland

Nomadland It is about a woman played by Frances McDorum by Nd, who hits the road in her van and becomes a nomadic housewife. It is the third film directed by Chloe Zoe, who also directed Songs my brothers taught me And Rider. The trailer is beautiful and thoughtful – the movie looks like it would be perfect for a quiet night wrapped in a blanket. Nomadland On February 19, the U.S. Is set for theatrical release.

Out of wire

Out of wire The trailer has a lot of athletic jumps, explosions, robots and loud drumming, so I hope that translates into an entertaining and campy action movie. (Basically, it sounds like the opposite Nomadland.) And I’m more interested in Netflix’s official description for the film: “Set in the future, Harp (Damson Idris), a drone pilot, has been sent to a fatal military field where he works for Leo (Anthony Mackie) himself. An Android official was tasked with finding the Doomsday device before the rebels did. “Sweet, I’m inside. Out of wire Netflix will hit on January 15th.

Vandavision

Disney has also released another short trailer for Vandavision, Its next Disney Plus series from Marvel Studios. Elizabeth Olsen, Wanda Maximoff / Scarlett Witch and Paul Betney as Vision. If you are expecting Vandavision, You won’t have to wait any longer until you finally see it – the show premieres on January 15th.
