Google Search Console Insights, a new experience tailored for content creators and publishers, is now being tested with select users.
Search Console insight gives content creators access to new data that goes above and beyond what is available in the standard version of Search Console.
Site owners can use the data to better understand how their content resonates with users.
The data can then help site owners make more informed decisions when it comes to content enhancement.
On a new landing page, Google provides the following description of Search Console insights:
Insight Search Console is a new experience tailored for content creators and publishers and can help them understand how audiences discover the content of their site and what resonates with their audiences. This new experience is driven by data from both Search Console and Google Analytics. ”

How Insight from Search Console Can Help
With the data available in Search Console Insights, content creators and publishers can answer the following questions:
- What are your best performance content?
- How do you create new pieces with content?
- How do people discover your content across the web?
- What are the top and trend questions of your site on Google Search?
- What other pages and articles link to your site’s content and have you received new links?
The number of site owners that can access Search Console Insights is currently quite limited.
Google’s new tool is currently being tested in a closed beta with a select group of sites.
Site owners have already been notified when they are selected to participate in the beta test.
This means that there is no way to sign up for the beta unless you have already been selected by Google.
Google says it hopes to open the beta test to more users in the future, as well as expand the number of pages each user can add to Search Console Insights.
Those invited to the beta test will receive an onboarding email with more information.

If you have chosen not to receive emails from Google, you can check if your site is part of the closed beta by accessing the ‘Search Console in search results’ feature.
To access this feature, simply search Google for a query about your site.
You’ll then see a result on Google at the top of the page titled ‘Search performance for this query’ at the top.
That result will include an entry point to Search Console Insights, which you can see an example below.
Beta testers are encouraged to share feedback that may help improve future versions of Search Console Insights.
