(WSIL) – Eight southern counties in Illinois reported new cases of COVID-19 on Friday.
Jackson and Williamson counties each had 19 new cases.
Williamson is one of 20 Illinois counties at the Illinois Department of Public Health’s warning level for COVID-19.
Franklin, Jefferson, Randolph, Union and White counties made the warning level list Friday.
FRANKLIN COUNTY
- Wife: One in her 20s, one in her 30s and two in her 50s
- Male: One in 30’s
Franklin County has handled 276 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including one death. Of the positive cases, health officials say 174 have recovered.
GALLATIN COUNTY
Egyptian health department says Gallatin County has 59 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including two deaths.
JACKSON COUNTY
- Wife: Two teenagers, one in her 20s, one in her 30s, three in her 40s, one in her 50s, two in her 70s, and two in her 80s
- Male: One pre-teen, two teenagers, one in his 20s, one in his 40s, one in his 50s and one in his 60s
Jackson County Health Department announced Friday 19 new cases of COVID-19. So far, there have been 836 confirmed cases in the province, including 20 related deaths. Eighty-eight active cases are currently being managed.
JEFFERSON COUNTY
- Wife: One teenager, three in her 20s, one in her 40s and one in her 50s
- Male: One in his 70s
In addition to seven new COVID-19 cases, the Jefferson County Health Department also announced two additional deaths to long-term care facilities.
There have been 399 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Jefferson County, including 27 deaths. Currently, 67 active cases are in isolation
MASSAC COUNTY
Massac County has had 49 confirmed cases of COVID-19. Southern Sand Department of Health says seven of the cases are currently active.
UNION COUNTY
- Woman: One in her 60s and one in her 70s
- Male: One in his 60s
Union County has handled 371 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 20 deaths. Health officials say 52 of the cases are currently active.
White land
According to the Egyptian Department of Health, there have been 103 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in White County.
WILLIAMSON COUNTY
- Female: Four teenagers, two in their 20s, one in their 30s, two in their 40s, three in their 50s, one in their 70s and one in their 80s
- Male: One in their 20s, two in their 30s, one in their 40s and one in their 60s
Williamson County had 19 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday. To date, there have been 690 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the province, including nine deaths. Health officials say 375 of the positive cases have been repaired.
