At Amazon’s hardware launching event today, the company announced the new Ring, Echo, Ero and Fire devices. Amazon also announced a new gaming service called Luna, which we cover in its own article.

The Ring Always Home Cam is a new device from the Ring family, better known for their camera doorbells. Always Leaves Home Cam is a small, self-docking drone that has been flown around Inside Your home, smartphone apps have video streaming on the cloud for review. Ring founder Jamie Siminoff said the Home Cam has always aimed to provide many interior views without the need for too many internal cameras and is a “clear product that is very difficult to create.”

The drone operates completely autonomously, but the setup process involves mapping the areas of the house where it is allowed to fly and the routes it is allowed to take. After setup, the drone is told to fly straight, or it can fly manually to visit distractions detected by ring alarm systems. Its 1080p camera is only blocked by the dock, so if the drone is not in flight, it is not streaming or recording. Like most small drones, it also integrates automatic barrier avoidance and the blade uses a propeller shroud to protect both itself and any objects, individuals or pets that might otherwise come.

Burglary at Pseudo-Funk Baseline … Wow.

The Ring Always Home Cam is priced at $ 250 and is expected to start shipping shortly in 2021.

Wi-Fi 6 Ero, Ero Pro

The Wi-Fi 6 ero systems that we received FCC certification earlier this month were officially announced today. The new kits are available for preorder today, with shipping expected to begin in early November.

The three models to be released are the Aero 6 router, the Ero Pro 6 router and the Ero 6 extender. The Ero Pro 6 is a tri-band device (a 2.4GHz radio with two 5GHz radios); Both non-pro devices are dual-band. All three SKUs have built-in ZigBee functionality for home automation.

Both router models have two gigabyte ports and a USB-C power port; The Extender only has a USB-C power port and does not provide wired connections. The Ero 6 router alone can be pre-ordered for 130 or with an Ero 6 Extender for 200 as a kit. The Ero 6 Pro router is available for preorder on order 230. It took a bit more digging, but we also got the option to pre-order a three-piece Ero 6 kit for 90 280 or a Solo Ero 6 extender for sol 90.

We are disappointed with Amazon’s decision to go back to separate device designs for “routers” and “extenders” – and on the clear steps of making the base kit two parts instead of three. Wiring devices, such as PCs on gaming consoles or directly on the satellite node, are big wins for overall Wi-Fi network quality and reliability, and we liked the company’s previous decision to go with Ethernet jacks on all products. We also find that most homes are better served with three pieces than two.

New Eco Generation

Amazon’s Echo series got a refresh today, moving on to the spheres covered with fancy fabric instead of the previous, Prosek “squat plastic cylinder” design. The full-size Echo IV-Gen runs $ 100 and will be available October 22 in Charcoal, Glacier White or Twilight Blue. With Amazon delivering “clear high, dynamic meads and deep deep bass that automatically transforms into any room” with the previous “Woofer and Dual Twitters”, we’re expected to sound better than the previous Pay Generations distribution.

The Echo Dot also gets a fourth-gen makeover, sporting a new rounded design in smaller sizes and different styles. The base model with the same charcoal, Glacier White or Twilight Blue covering option, half the price of its older siblings is 50. There are also upscale variants of the ડો 60 dot, including a built-in watch version (only in Glacier White or Twilight Blue) and two Kids Edition dots એક a panda and a tiger.

The Kids Edition dots also feature years included, such as Amazon Kids + (formerly known as Freetime Unlimited), a curated subscription service for usable kid-oriented content, and a two-year “worry-free” replacement warranty. One of the Kids Edition Fire Tablets.

After all, there’s Echo Show 10 – a 10 “tablet motor mounted on a motor gimbal that automatically detects the human body itself. Instead of doing AI” human detection “cloud-based, it’s all onboard, and it can’t detect specific human faces. However, he looks for a human-shaped outline around the continent.

We envision the Show 250 Echo Show as the perfect setting for one Mona Lisa Whose eyes really print To do Follow around all your room, but Amazon video refers to more procedural use for conferencing. As useful as this feature may be, we expect it to be used in some – and a new round of “zoom fail” videos, in which conference participants forget the camera is (still) on them. The Echo Show is available for preorder today, but there is no concrete shipping date yet.

Fire TV sticks

This year's Fire TV Stick brings HDR support, Alexa and Voice is a remote that is capable of controlling your TV, and a faster processor - not even 4K video.

A new Fire TV Stick Lite is available for $ 30 and a non-light Fire TV Stick for $ 40. Both devices include the Alexa and Voice Is remote functionality and 8GB of storage, processors faster than previous models, and the maximum resolution is 1080p. If you want the full 4K video, you’ll need the Fire 50 Fire TV Stick 4K, which hasn’t received an update this year.

The difference between this year’s light and non-light Fire TV sticks is in the Dolby Audio Dio (pass through HDMI on lights only, full Atmos on non-lights) and the remote control – Alexa and Voice is remote controls itself on the lights only. , But it can control the entire TV on non-lights.

Although the new Fire TV Stick and Stick Lite are only 1080p, both devices support HDR (high-dynamic range) video, which is more often seen on 4K devices and displays, and more contrast and color than HDR-non-video. Gammat gives. .
