There is little interest in the mainstream media covering the controversy surrounding California government Gavin News to attend a fancy dinner party amid his state’s strict lockdown restrictions during the California linavirus epidemic.
The San Francisco Chronicle reported last Friday that Nomzom attended the birthday party of political adviser Jason Kinney with at least a dozen attendees at French Laundry, an upscale restaurant in the Napa Valley.
The Democratic governor offered an apology to California residents for their actions, although he explained that the social gathering took place in an “outdoor restaurant.” However, in a photo obtained by Fox 11 in Los Angeles, News and other attendees dined nearby and without their masks.

Despite the growing controversy and the response it has received, ABC, CBS and NBC have given the story zero coverage for several days as they came across the incident during both their morning and evening broadcasts.
Both CNN and MSNBC gave minimal coverage to News Optics Fiasco. CNN mentioned it briefly on Saturday and only once during the week when CNN’s political analyst John Avalon quickly mentions it in his “reality check” segment and the next day when CNN anchor Jack Tapper and chief medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta spent about a minute eating at the door because he was a “poor example” to the poor.
MSNBC spent less time on the subject. After spending four days completely avoiding the news controversy through the liberal network, “Redout” host Joy Red dedicated about 12 seconds admitting to passing it during the panel discussion.

“All in” host Chris Hayes was the only primetime host on MSNBC or CNN who not only mentioned the shortcomings of the news, but also denounced the governor.
“What are we doing here, people?!? What are we doing?!?” Hayes said. “These people should all know better! 9,800 new cases were added in California today, more than 60 deaths … not further than this example. And they live in a part of the country where it’s still very hot outside. Go! Go socially spaced cocktails at your donor’s Malibu mansions! “
