A lot of classic black comedies including Sister sister; Moesha and Girlfriends they go to Netflix.
The streamer has collected seven titles from the library as part of his push for his Strong Black Lead filament.
In addition to Sister sister; Moesha and girlfriends, has purchased the rights to The game one by one and Half and half.
Moesha will be released on August 1, followed by the first three seasons of The game The 15th of August. Sister sister September 1 arrives with Girlfriends launched on September 11 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of its release. The Parkers debuts on October 1, followed by Half and half, and One by one on October 15.
Bradley Edwards, Netflix Content Acquisition Manager and Jasmyn Lawson, Strong Black Lead Manager, said the classics had been at the top of their subscribers’ wish lists for a long time.

The streamer launched his Strong Black Lead chain in February 2018 and has collected black movies including Love and basketball, B * A * P * S, and Love jones

These shows made us laugh, cry and sing along with those catchy themed songs. And most importantly, we feel like we saw each other on screen, in some cases for the first time. Every week we were able to tune in to see people, families and friends who looked like us and characters whose daily ups and downs reflected the lives of blacks in an authentic way, ”they added.
