Developed by Veewo Games and published by Team 17, Neon Abyss makes you take on the role of a member of the Grim Squad, a special unit that Hades has created to infiltrate the Abyss and destroy the New Gods. Players will execute ‘n’ gun through a dungeon that evolves with each race. New rooms, item bosses, and new endings can be unlocked, making each dungeon truly unique, “each race diversifies the experience, and each choice alters the rule set,” reads the description from the Microsoft game store.
Players will encounter numerous random item drops to aid them on their journey through the Abyss. These items and their effects can stack, and there is no limit to the amount that can be applied, making for a wide variety of item and weapon combinations. The game also features pets that add additional firepower and can evolve over time, as well as several different minigames to jump.
