NellieThis season of “Dancing with the Stars” had all the rage of custom-made dance shoes and now they’re moving towards a great cause – young women who have survived human trafficking.
Like we told you … the rapper used to wow ‘DWTS’ fans and judges with his ‘smart moves’ and ‘his’ fans Hip hop-inspired footwear, But now that the dance competition is wrapped up, he is sending his shoes to the Teen Project to be attacked.
Our sources say that Young Swivel has donated at least 10 pairs to the organization – which helps young women while suffering trauma and homelessness – and is expected to receive a collection of 50,000 from his entire collection … if not more.
Nellie has been a big supporter of the Teen Project over the past few months, which helped org grow to an overall 20 820k in 2020 … which is about 300 300 more than last year.
The rapper is working to raise money for the Vera Sanctuary, a rehabilitation facility run by the Teen Project for victims of sexual trafficking. Our sources say that the money raised by Nellie has already been used by Vera to send women to college.
With Nellie’s ‘DWTS’ shoes expected to be up for auction next week, we’re told the organization expects an additional 30k in donations from Nellie’s efforts this week.
