NBA Recap: Pat Connaughton to Join Bucks, Bagley Gets MRI

The NBA restart is about to begin and teams from across the league are gearing up for scrimmages later this week. In the Western Conference, it seems the Kings’ path to the postseason became even more difficult. According to Yahoo Sports NBA informant Chris Haynes, Marvin Bagley sustained an injury to his right foot during practice on Sunday and received an MRI.

With De’Aaron Fox (ankle), Richaun Holmes (isolated after breaking quarantine), and Alex Len (arriving late in Orlando) out, coach Luke Walton’s team faces an uphill climb.

The Pacers, unlike the Kings, will receive immediate reinforcements as guard Victor Oladipo. New York Times NBA writer Marc Stein revealed that coach Nate McMillan is confident Oladipo will be ready for fights later this week. The Trail Blazers open their three-game scrimmage schedule against the Pacers on Thursday.

Finally, it seems that the Bucks wing, Pat Connaughton, is on his way to join the Bucks in Orlando after testing positive for COVID-19 before the Milwaukee game. Connaughton released a statement on his plans on Monday.

Now in his second season with the Bucks, Connaughton is averaging 18.3 minutes and 5.1 points per game.
