NBA 2K21 Current Generation Release Date Revealed, Next Generation Version $ 10 More Expensive

NBA 2K21 will not support Xbox Smart Delivery or a similar service on PlayStation 5, which means there will be no free upgrade to the next generation if you purchase the game on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One. However, if players purchase the Mamba Forever Edition $ 99.99 USD, they’ll get the next-gen version when it launches at no additional cost.

The forever edition of Mamba will include the Kobe Bryant digital collection that includes special MyPlayer shirts and shoes, a Satephire Kobe MyTEAM card and much more.

We asked an NBA 2K spokesperson about Xbox Smart Delivery, and they said, “It’s something we’re interested in, but NBA 2K21 won’t support Xbox Smart Delivery.”

The next-generation version of NBA 2K21 will offer “unbeatable graphics fidelity, two-second load speeds, new game features, and expanded game modes.” Additionally, NBA 2K21 will have “MyTEAM Cross-Progression and a shared VC wallet within the same console family.”While Kobe will be on the cover of the Mamba Forever editions, Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers and Zion Williamson of the New Orleans Pelicans will be on the covers of the standard versions for current and next generation platforms, respectively .
