Naya Rivera’s ex-husband Ryan Dorsey paid a heartfelt tribute to the late Glee star after his tragic death.
Earlier this month, the Santana López actress was reported missing after her son Josey was found alone in a rented boat on Lake Piru, Ventura in California.
His body was discovered on Monday (July 13), and the Ventura County coroner confirmed that he had died from accidental drowning.
Joining Rivera’s friends, colleagues, and loved ones who have been sharing tributes for the actress, Dorsey has now shared some emotional words of her own.
“This is so unfair … there are not enough words to express the emptiness left in everyone’s hearts,” he wrote in an Instagram post. “I can’t believe this is life now. I don’t know if I’ll ever believe it. You were here … We were in the back swimming with Josey the day before. Life is not fair I don’t know what to say.
“I am grateful for our times and our journey that brought us together and gave us the sweetest and kindest child we could hope for.
He continued: “I remember sometimes you got upset:” Ryan, can you stop chatting? “Haha. I’m glad I didn’t listen to you because I have hundreds and probably thousands of photos and videos that Josey will have forever and will know that her mom loved her more than life, and how much fun we had together as she grew up.
“Life is about good and bad times, but with Josey he makes the bad a little less, because a part of you will always be with us. He will never forget where he came from. We miss you. We will always love you. I love you Meep. “

Dorsey ended the post by thanking those who reached out to him and the family, before begging everyone to “value the moments you have with the people you care about.”
Rivera and Dorsey were married between July 2014 and June 2018. The actress gave birth to her son Josey in September 2015.
