Actress Naya Rivera has been buried.
The 33-year-old “Glee” star was buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles on Friday, July 24, according to a death certificate obtained by People magazine.
The document listed the cause of death as “drowning” and says that Rivera died in a manner of “[minutes]”By people, it also establishes that there were no other significant conditions that contributed to his death.
On July 13, Rivera’s body was recovered from Piru Lake in California, five days after he disappeared when he had rented a boat with his 4-year-old son, Josey.

When the boat was unable to return in time, its vendor found that the boat was adrift at the north end of the lake with the sleeping child on board. According to Ventura County authorities, the seller told investigators that the boy and his mother had been swimming.
Josey told investigators that his mother helped him get back on board the ship. Then he looked back and saw her disappear into the water.
The boy was wearing a life jacket, and another life jacket was found in the boat along with Rivera’s ID. His car was found in a parking area. Josey, whom Rivera shared with her ex-husband, actor Ryan Dorsey, was “in good health,” authorities previously confirmed.

The day after his disappearance, authorities said they believed Rivera had drowned and that the rescue mission had recovered.
Dorsey took to her Instagram earlier this week to honor Rivera. “This is so unfair … there are not enough words to express the emptiness left in everyone’s hearts. I cannot believe this is life now. I do not know if I will ever believe it,” he wrote.
