NASCAR driver Babba Valace Les has informed Richard Patti Motorsport that he will not be returning to the team for the 2021 season.
The 26-year-old has been on the team since he started driving in the Cup series in 2017.
“We’ll finish behind the wheel of the No. 43 Chevrolet Camro ZL1 1L with V-Lace this season. We look forward to the next chapter for the iconic No. 43 team. We’ll announce our new driver in the near future,” the team said.
Valce Les has not announced his plans for next year, but said in a statement posted on Twitter that Richard Patty’s decision to leave Motorsports was not an easy one.
Wallace is a free agent at the end of the season and he confirmed he was in discussions with Chip Ganasi Racing. Richard Patty Motorsports offered ownership of a part of the team as part of a future contract.
Fox Business: LA LA Lands Another Sponsorship Deal
Valace Les, which has the best finish in the series, is its second spot in the 2018 Daytona 500, has not advanced to the playoffs this year and is currently ranked 23rd in the season. The Black Lives Matter movement made a name for itself this year as a native of Alabama as the response leader of the Nascar, when team owner Richard Petty was found in his garage after tying a rope on the Taladega Superspeedway. Decided not to be a message of hatred directed at him. In recent weeks he has attracted several new sponsorships, including the Beats by Dray and Kingsford Charcoal, which will follow him to his next team.
