NASCAR on Dover odds, predictions: surprisingly 2020 takes Drydene 311 for Saturday from top model

With only three races left before the start of the 2020 NASCAR Playoffs, Dover International Speedway will host a few Cup Series events this weekend. Drydene 311 of Saturday 2020 starts at 4 pm ET, with the race of Sunday starting at 4 pm ET. Chase Elliott comes off a win at Daytona Road last weekend and is reportedly 13-2 in William Hill’s 2020 Drydene 311 odds.

However, three drivers are listed for Elliott at the 2020 NASCAR on Dover odds board, including 2020 NASCAR standings leader Kevin Harvick (11-4). Denny Hamlin finished second last week and is just behind Harvick at 9-2 in this week’s NASCAR odds. Before you lock up all the Drydene 311 picks for your Saturday before Saturday, make sure you watch the latest 2020 NASCAR at Dover predictions and projected Leaderboard of the proven model at SportsLine.

Developed by everyday Fantasy pro and SportsLine predictive data engineer Mike McClure, this proprietary NASCAR prediction model simulates each race 10,000 times, taking into account factors such as track history and recent results.

The model began the 2020 NASCAR season by choosing Denny Hamlin to win his second consecutive Daytona 500 at 10-1. It got off to a solid start on its NASCAR picks following the hiatus of coronavirus, naming seven of the top 10 drivers at both Darlington races. Using the model, McClure also recommended a direct play on winner Brad Keselowski at 13-1 as one of his best bets at Bristol in May.

The model also mentioned the win of Kevin Harvick at Atlanta and ignored a whopping nine top-10 finishers in that race. McClure also used the model to close in a direct bet on Hamlin winning 10-1 at Miami. At The Brickyard, the model named Harvick’s fourth victory of the season, and also identified four top-five drivers in the All-Star Race at Bristol. Then last week on the Daytona roadcourse, the model named the win of Chase Elliott and nailed three of the top four drivers. Anyone who has followed the model has seen some tremendous returns.

Now, the model simulated the NASCAR at Dover race on Saturday, August 22, 10,000 times. Go here to see the full projected Leaderboard.

Top 2020 Drydene 311 predictions for Saturday

The model is high on Ryan Blaney, even though he is a 14-1 long shot in the last NASCAR on William Hill’s Dover odds. He is a target for anyone looking for an enormous payday. Blaney is currently fifth in the 2020 standings of the NASCAR Cup Series despite disappointing finishes in his last two races at Michigan (38th) and the Daytona road course (31st).

Blaney finished fourth in the first of two races held in Michigan two weekends ago and he had eight top-five finishes in 2020, including a win at Talladega in the Geico 500. Blaney has multiple top-10 finishes at Dover early in his career and also won there in the Xfinity Series during the 2017 Drive Sober 200.

And a massive shocker: Kevin Harvick, the top Vegas favorite at 11-4, fails to win. Harvick has six wins after winning both races at Michigan, but he did not enjoy his ride on the Daytona track track after finishing 17th.

That ended a streak of nine consecutive top-five finishes. Harvick has a few wins at Dover International Speedway, but he also has nine finishes of 20 or less. There are much better values this week in a loaded starting lineup of Drydene 311.

How to Make 2020 Drydene 311 picks for Saturday

The model is also aimed at four other drivers with 2020 NASCAR at Dover odds of 12-1 or longer to make a serious rune on the controlled flag, including a massive long shot with three-digit odds. Whoever supports these drivers could ride it big. You can only see who they are here.
