LIZZIE KNIGHT: “AP ShowBiz Minute”. The 2020 MTV Video Music Awards will go ahead despite the coronavirus pandemic. The show will take place on August 30 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. During a briefing on Monday, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said the event will follow all safety guidelines, including limited or no audience.
Kim Kardashian West is selling a stake in her beauty brand for $ 200 million in a deal that values the reality TV star’s three-year business at $ 1 billion. The buyer is the owner of CoverGirl, Coty, Inc., which will earn a 20% interest in KKW Beauty. Last year, she bought a 51% stake in the makeup line started by Kardashian West’s younger sister, Kylie Jenner.
Nicole Young, the wife of 24-year-old Dr. Dre, filed for divorce. Young filed documents Monday seeking to end her marriage to producer, rapper, and music mogul Dre in the Los Angeles County Superior Court.
