“The decision to hold this presidential election has been taken and it is time for the country to move forward,” the letter said. “If President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris win … there should be no further delay in the orderly transfer of power.”
The letter was published Monday by a large advocacy group from the business community through a for-profit partnership for New York City.
In addition, says the group’s CEO, Catherine Walde Early signatures, other business leaders are requested to sign the letter.
On Wednesday, Congress is ready for a meeting to certify the election results in the process of general results. But at least 140 House Republicans and a dozen Senate Republicans are preparing to vote against Biden’s victory, under pressure to overturn the election results, despite no evidence of massive voter fraud.
