More Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 specs and pricing details leaked, release date may be delayed

Samsung is preparing a rather unorthodox Unpacked 2020 event, and not just because it can take place in a streaming-only format due to the new realities of coronavirus. He gradually moved his second half of the year rate out of the big industry trade shows, and started holding a dedicated presentation for his Note flagship lineup, but this year he will be introducing far more devices than the venerable S Pen phone in unpacking mix.

One of the phones is expected to be unveiled on the event date of August 5, Unpacked 2020, if the second edition of Samsung’s Galaxy Fold franchise of folding foldable phones is rumored. The Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 is expected to be announced with foldable 7.7 “internal screens and much more usable 6.23” external screens, since the main criticism towards the OG Fold is that it is almost useless when closed, so it should amortize the hinge for every urgent matter with the phone.
However, there will be another update compared to the OG Fold, and it’s the 25W fast charging capabilities taken directly from the latest Galaxy S20 series, such as MySmartPrice discovered on a 3C certification. This type of charger pumps the Galaxy S20 Ultra’s 5000 mAh battery for less than an hour, making it a very welcome development for the future Fold 2 owner when they’re in a hurry.

How many owners will there be, however, at the rumored price of 2200 EUR? That was the latest rumor from an accredited source about the price of the Fold 2, and now the higher price is confirmed tangentially by another filter that has hit a lot of price tabs on the head over the years.

In addition to the 2000+ USD / EUR starting price of the Fold 2, Ricciolo also suggests a delayed release due to coronavirus-induced production bottlenecks. That would push the Galaxy Fold 2 release date to a fall calendar, and something similar is rumored for iPhone 12 models, again for the same reasons, so where there is smoke, there can also be fire.
