The theme of Fortnite Season 3 is obvious: a flood has taken over the map and it is slowly receding. There also seems to be an emphasis on fire, though that could be considered an extra game mechanic rather than a theme.
However, if we have learned anything over the past few seasons, it is that the primary theme of a particular season rarely ends on the plot in the way we think. Looking back on Season 2. We all assumed there was a war brewery between Ghost and Shadow. In the end, it all seems like a ruse to hide Midas’ real motive: breaking the storm.
Those who look beyond the theme of the Season 3 surface level will notice a few things that do not quite fit. We have the next generation bosses, Aquaman, a new Coral Castle POI – all fit the water theme and continue with the basic story of season 2.
What does not fit the theme, however, is Siona, her kit, and the wrecked spaceship outside Craggy Cliffs. They all seem to fit in with the Chapter 1. Season 3 theme instead of that of Chapter 2 Season 3.
Now, what if that’s exactly where Siona and the wrecked spaceship come from? What if they were originally from the map of Chapter 1 – lost in space when everyone else was transported through the Black Hole. It took them a little longer to get to the new map, but they still found their way.
Reddit user, Twitch streamer, and general Fortnite lore expert, Koooooomar, placed both Season 3 themes together with one, simple symbol: the one found on the back of Chapter 1 Season 3 boots. astronauts. This is the same symbol on the top of the crashed rocket from Chapter 2 Season 3.
What does this mean for the end of Season 3? Where did the ship go when it boarded? Back to the original Fortnite map? We do not know for sure, but we may be closer if we think to get answers.
We expect the upcoming HighTower event to address the crashed spacecraft immediately. As was the case with the war Ghost and Shadow, we think the flood is a distraction from what is really happening on the island.
Whatever all this means – your judgment is as good as ours. For now, we can only assume that Siona and the wrecked ship left the Chapter 1 map during season 3 – arriving at the new map in time for the same season. Are we still in the loop? ‘If I hear this again, will it help me remember? Or will I one day be like the other? ‘
