The Aquarium submitted the following in response to a query about some of its employees who tested positive.

“We do not disclose health information about team members. We work with the Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) on an ongoing basis to support the monitoring of community contacts with any COVID-19 case. Our internal tracking protocols include identifying any team member who may have been in contact with the team member who has tested positive for COVID-19, according to guidelines established by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention ( CDC) and SNHD. Those team members are referred for an immediate COVID-19 test. In addition, we carry out a thorough disinfection of the team member’s work area. Employees cannot return to work until they have tested negative for COVID-19 twice. All employees and guests must wear masks without exception. “
