More jobs under Trump-Pence since May than whole Obama-Biden

It’s time for Vice President Mike Pence.

With the Democratic ticket finally set for the fall presidential race, Pence has moved into campaign mode, ready with a list of achievements to practice, led by economic gains since the coronavirus crisis ruined the administration’s previous successes.

At the top of that list is the comeback of jobs – about 9.2 million since the pandemic hit the United States in March.

That number gave Vice President, even more on message than usual, a new line to use against the newly-minted Democratic ticket of former Vice President Joe Biden and California sen. Kamala Harris.

On Fox News’ The Sean Hannity Show late Wednesday, Pence said, “We’ve been creating more jobs in the last three months than Joe Biden and Barack Obama created in their eight years in office.” During the previous administration, about 8.9 million jobs were created.

The pandemic cost about 20 million jobs, but many see the establishment of nearly half of the loss as a major achievement and a way back to the record-breaking tasks that occurred during President Trump’s first three years in office.

On the show, Pence presented the Trump administration’s argument for reelection, a message so concentrated that his team posted it on Twitter.

He begins with the choice of Biden by Harris, a “California liberal,” as the Democratic running mate, making him a classic liberal versus conservative race.

“The choice has never been clearer,” the vice president said.

He follows up with a rolling number of goals that were set and met and concludes with expressions of anger for the final election pressure to begin with.

‘I like the match-up. It’s on, ‘he said.
