Mookie’s 3 dongs lead offensives 6 at night – Dodgers Digest

De Dodgers have yet to lose a series on the season, and that was set up due to a resounding 11-2 victory last night over the Padres to get a series split in the four-gamer.

Noted and famous Padres fan Rich Roberts has provided a recipe for me.

Thank you, bro.

Things certainly did not start that way. Julio Urias gave up two two-out homers on back-to-back lanes after Tommy Pham en Eric Hosmer in the 1st, put them early in a 2-0 hole.

Fortunately, that did not last long.

No. Mookie Betts was hit by a pitch to officially start for the Dodgers in the 1st, Corey Seager knew the shortcoming immediately with a two-run homer. Letter, AJ Pollock gave the Dodgers a lead with a solo shot to make it 3-2.

In the 2nd, the Dodgers only added more Chris Paddack thanks to a Chris Taylor double and Mookie out of the zone for an oppo shot of two runs to make it 5-2.

They did not score their only run on a finger in the 3rd, as Pollock doubled in Justin Turner, which reached on a single.

That was enough for Paddack, and in the 4th they came back on their thin ways Luis Perdomo to make it 9-2. A CT3 double, a Austin Barnes homer (seriously), and Mookie’s second of the night led to a three-pointer.

Amazingly, Betts did it in the 6th. After CT3 got a hit, Mookie followed by killing another ball to the left center to make it 11-2.

Lost in all of this is Urias, who finished with 6.1 innings on 86 fields. After the first inning homers, he gave up only three singles, did not go out at night and hit three. A nice step forward for him.

Dennis Santana took over, gave up a double, but got a strikeout in 1.1 scoreless innings. Jake McGee surprisingly tried to rule it out despite being one of their best relievers this year. He got a strikeout and a fly out, but gave up a walk and threw 24 pitches, so Dylan Floro things close with a strikeout.

Winning is fun.

Pollock should be grateful for Joc Pederson.

I apologize in advance.

The Dodgers are now 13-7 and have the Rockies for the first time in the NL West, at least on games.

Tomorrow they travel down the highway to play the Angels for three games, to begin with Clayton Kershaw against Patrick Sandoval at 3:40 PM HST / 6:40 PM PST / 9:40 PM EST.

The schedule of new week seems appealing.
