San Diego Comic-Con may be canceled in its most ideal sense this year, but for the nerdy loyalists who still want to enjoy the community created by panels, cosplay, and loot, the dream lives on. And it went virtual with SDCC’s Comic-Con @ Home event later this week. In keeping with that spirit, Mondo, the independent art company to make tastes, has partnered with SDCC for the exclusive products below.
Starting tomorrow and Thursday, fans of characters as varied as Miles Morales’ Spider-Man, Charles Schulz’s Peanuts Gang, and the poor and damned caught in “The Loop” on Amazon Tales from the loop, you will have the opportunity to collect the following:
Tales from the Loop Original 2XLP Soundtrack
The previous soundtrack is immortalized on vinyl, and with the illustrations of Simon Stålenhag, the hypnotic Tales from the loop Philip Glass and Paul Leonard-Morgan score. The soundtrack is made in association with Hollywood Records and features the fascinating otherworldly music from the Amazon Original series.
“The central piano melody of the main theme is woven throughout the entire structure of the music, giving up the usual sci-fi trope of electronic synthesizers,” Mondo said in a statement. “TALES has its roots in the piano, the cello, the violin and is awash with complex orchestrations. Melancholic and haunting at one moment, dramatic and raucous the next. It is a great achievement, and the interaction between the two composers is amazing, taking the listener on a beautiful and emotional journey. ”
