Dr. Shirley Chi, a local board-certified dermatologist, explains what the FDA committee noted.
“In these cases, all of the patients had swelling and inflammation given the filler. Some couples had a cheek filler six months before the vaccine and one patient had a sore lip two days after the vaccine. All were treated with steroids and anti- With the solution of histamines and all their reactions, ”she said.
Millions of people are given cosmetic facial fillers through therapies to smooth out fine lines, wrinkles and grow cheeks and lips. Chi says the reaction to the vaccine is immunological.
“When you get vaccinated it causes inflammation. Your immune system regenerates. It’s supposed to work that way. So it makes sense that you see an immune response in certain areas where they see a substance that occurs naturally. Not a substance. Your body “Chi says.
Chi also says that the vaccine does not stop when it is your turn and all reactions to derma fillers are easily treated by medical personnel.
