Blackboard action

Greetings, players! Again, the main board start times are lined up everywhere at 7:05 pm EST.

Just like last year, I’ll provide a stack review for the main roster, as well as viable subboards with at least two games on file. Some of these shortboard options will be good for the full game set, others will be more inconsistent and more suitable for mini-game sets.

MLB DFS Picks Chalkboard Afternoon

Toronto Blue Jays on RHP Erick Fedde – TBD implicit executions

Just a reminder that this game is being played in Nationals Park even with the Blue Jays as the home team. Fedde is a AAAA limit player. Last year he faced 334 batters, allowing a walk percentage of 9.9 with a strikeout percentage of 12.3 and a swing strike percentage of 7.1. The key to your success will be how many earth balls you can induce. In his first start this year against the Yankees, he survived four innings with 11 ground balls, allowing a solo homer.

Look at any Blue Jay hitter with power; the preferred options are Vladimir Guerrero Jr. They dig Biggio and Teoscar Hernandez. We can also include Bo Bichette and Randal GrichukAlthough they have been dealing with persistent injuries.

MLB DFS Selections From Main Whiteboard

New York Mets vs. LHP Martín Pérez – 5.4 implicit careers

Yesterday I had the Mets against a right as my featured stack. Today, they are back in the mix today against a left-hander. Perez is similar to LHP Wade Miley in that it does not usually implode. However, he has allowed five or more runs in 12 of his last 55 starts, and his 1.61 HR / 9 during that span is intriguing to DFS. 50.2% ground ball speed helps mitigate some damage, but allows more than 1.6 base runners per inning and doesn’t hit many.

Pete alonso, Yoenis Cespedes and JD Davis They are the trio to target. Amed Rosario It will probably start, but it’s expensive on DraftKings and Yahoo, which will suppress its popularity.

Late Slate MLB DFS Picks

Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim vs. LHP Marco Gonzales – 5.6 implicit runs

While this is an obvious stack, it will be interesting to see how willing players are to pay $ 6,100 for Mike Trout at DraftKings. On Wednesday, at $ 6,200, he was still in 15-20% of the lineups, depending on the size of the contest and the entry fee. We know Trout feasts left-handers, and is already 12-of-28 with a .429 / .515 / .750 cut against Gonzales, notable for two home runs, three doubles and five walks on just six strikeouts in two seasons. .

Anthony Rendon and Albert Pujols They are the other desired targets, though at $ 5,400 at DraftKings, matching Rendon and Trout will be a tough question. Throughout his career, Justin Upton He was a notable left-hander, but has apparently forgotten how to hit. In the past two seasons, he has an ISO of .142 in right-handed / left-handed matches. This is ridiculous compared to his .210 career figure.

Seattle Mariners at RHP Dylan Bundy – 4.0 implicit runs

While I normally want to target Bundy, who has allowed 70 league-leading home runs in the past two seasons, he’s no longer playing games at home at Camden Yards and battling giant Eastern League offenses. Moving to AL West should help tremendously. Also helpful is a showdown with the Mariners who may be pitching three rookies. They will be joined by a couple of players with less than three seasons under their belt.

They also lack left-handed power with Daniel Vogelbach posting an anemic ISO of .153, a .147 average and a strikeout percentage of 33.0 since the All-Star Break. That leaves Kyle seager, Kyle lewis and Shed Long they’re not very intimidating at all On the late board, we’re going to want to play both sides of this matchup. On the entire board, Dylan Bundy It looks like a great launch option, and it will be interesting to see what kind of popularity it gets.
