Complete whiteboard action

Greetings players! We have our first Sunday action of the year with the main blackboards starting at 1 pm ET. DraftKings will go with the first 11 games. FanDuel will include both games at 4 o’clock and of course SuperDraft and Yahoo will include all 15 games.

Just like last year, I’ll provide a stack review for the main roster, as well as viable subboards with at least two games on file. Some of these shortboard options will be good for the full game set, others will be more inconsistent and more suitable for mini-game sets.

Top MLB DFS Whiteboard Picks

Boston Red Sox vs. LHP Wade LeBlanc – 6.6 implicit runs

This is the first day that I officially write to the Boston Red Sox. Yes, we’ve been less than excited about his first two games against the Orioles. They had 13 runs Friday, but the additional eight base shots were double. Adding salt to his sponsors’ wounds, production expanded and 8-9 hitters combined for half of the additional base strokes, five of the 13 runs and four of the 13 RBIs.

Saturday often hurt Alex Cobb combined with four relievers to keep the Red Sox under control with just two runs. However, Sunday is a new day.

Official left-hander LeBlanc has allowed 1.65 HR / 9 in the past two seasons. This is the eleventh highest rate among pitchers with at least 200 innings, and he was a Mariner throughout this time period. The 52 home runs were divided 37 between right-handers (1.57 HR / 9) and 15 between left-handers (1.91 HR / 9).

Look towards JD Martinez, Xander Bogaerts, Christian Vazquez, Michael Chavis and Kevin Pillar, all of which boast an ISO of .200+ against left-handed pitchers in the past two seasons.

Houston Astros vs. LHP Yusei Kikuchi – 6.0 implicit runs

For the third consecutive day, we will return to the Astros. First, the Mariners pitch is a rotation to target frequently. Second, Houston is collectively surprising against left-handed pitchers. Most importantly, Kikuchi allowed 36 home runs in his debut season after starting his career in the Japanese League. That was the fourth most and he managed to do it in 30 innings less than anyone above him.

Once again, George Springer, Alex Bregman, José Altuve, Yuli Gurriel and Carlos Correa They are outstanding options. As a bonus, look at the bottom third of the order to see some difference on shortboards.

MLB DFS Chalkboard Afternoon Picks

Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim at RHP Mike Fiers – 4.7 implicit runs

Did you know that in the last 20 years, there have been 85 hitless games and Fiers has two of them? Did you also know that in the past two seasons he has allowed 62 home runs, which is the sixth-most in the league for any pitcher with at least 200 innings pitched?

In this section, Fiers has allowed a 1.31 HR / 9 left-handed player with 40% flyball and hard hit rates. Pitchers of the same hand have also had their number with a 1.82 HR / 9 and a flyball percentage of 41.3 and a percentage of 38.3 hard shots.

Mike Trout He has hit the Fiers with a .345 / .457 / 1,354 triple-bar line, which includes four doubles and four home runs in just 29 at bat. If we are going to play Albert Pujols When you don’t face the Mariners, today is the day. further Taylor Ward and Justin Upton provide wage relief.

Late Slate MLB DFS Picks

Atlanta Braves at RHP Rick Porcello – 4.5 implicit runs

In the past two seasons, Porcello has allowed 58 home runs, which is the ninth most during that span and continues our topic of the day. At best, it’s an inning hall that will catch the ball every five days and save the bullpen. Last year, Porcello had a .381 xISO against righties on his two-seam fastball, which he threw 20% of the time, and .188 xISO on his four-seam fastball, on which he supported 37% of the weather. Against hitters on the opposite hand, it was .232 xISO on all four seams used 41% of the time and .176 xISO on both seams, which he used 15% of the time.

Despite going a combined 1-23 on the season, with Ronald Acuña Jr. get lonely base hit like Ozzie Albies and Freddie Freeman they are zero for the season, we can go back to the well. There is a decent chance Freeman will have a day off, but he could also serve as the designated hitter as he regains his strength after a bout with COVID-19. Marcell Ozuna and Matt Adams fill in the other options for targeting on Sunday night.
