Missing father of Mackensie Alexander of Cincinnati Bengals found life in Florida

CINCINNATI – Cornerback Cackinnati Bengals official Mackensie Alexander has been found alive in the United States.

Jean Odney Alexandre, 65, was found Thursday morning after he walked to a ranger station in Kissimmee Prairie Preserve State Park, according to the Sheriff’s Office of Okeechobee County.

Alexandre (the two men have different spellings for their last names) was missing Monday in Okeechobee, according to police records. Alexandre picked palmetto berries with a friend he had known for more than 10 years when he disappeared into the woods around 2pm on Monday, according to the incident report. Authorities could not pinpoint Alexandre’s exact location because he did not have a cell phone at the time.

Alexander left the camp of Bengal to help in the search for his father. On Tuesday, Alexander and another man, Evins Clement, were arrested on a battery charge after they hit the man who was picking berries with Alexander’s father.

Alexander, 26, was released on $ 2,000 bond on Wednesday, according to Brian Pakett, who, along with Stacey Richman, represents Alexander. He is expected not to plead guilty on a future arrest date.

The Bengals signed Alexander for a one-year contract worth $ 4 million this offseason. He was expected to be the primary lockout corner of the team. The team gave limited comment after Alexander’s arrest, saying only that it was aware of the situation.
