Miley Cyrus says “it is not a party in the United States”: “F — the room until there is freedom”

While many stars are finding ways to celebrate July 4th this weekend, Miley Cyrus is using her platform to protest the national holiday and defend human rights. The singer reminded her 111 million followers on social media that not everyone in the United States sees “freedom and justice.”

“This was in 2017,” Cyrus wrote on Instagram, where he posted his introduction to an old “Party in the United States” presentation on Saturday (July 4). “FEEL MORE RELEVANT RIGHT NOW. It’s not a party in America until we see #LibertyandJusticeFALLALL you heard me, EVERYONE! # To hell with freedom!”

In the clip, filmed three years ago at the iHeartRadio Music Festival, he said: “It is not a party in the United States if we do not have equality, unity, justice, compassion, kindness, opportunity, medical care, education, non-violence. So, f — yes, it will be a party in the United States. We will see it. If we all get together, we will make sure it is so. “Because I won’t give up. We can’t stop, okay?”

“Party in the USA” is often a Independence Day favorite, as people line up to listen to music to ring their celebrations. In 2019, the song’s music video saw a 240% streaming spike on YouTube.
