Miley Cyrus proved that shoes are sometimes the only thing that matters when it comes to making a fashion statement. The pop star today released the music video for her new single, “Midnight Sky,” and the outfits were next level.
An important shoe moment came in the form of a vintage Gucci kitten-heel slide sandal. Cyrus can be seen lying in bubblegum balls without clothes. Instead, she is adorned in jewelry and wears the Gucci logo sandals adorned with Swarovski crystals.
In the rest of the music video, which Cyrus directed, high fashion takes center stage. One notable ensemble is the crystal, doggy pantsuit from Richard Quinn’s Fall 20 collection. Meanwhile, Cyrus stuns in a Saint-Laurent outfit from head-to-toe, complete with leather shorts and shiny polka-dot collar blouse, paired with leather boots over the knee.
Then Cyrus goes even more glam rock in a pre-fall purple sequin, Gucci high-slit dress.
We can also not forget to mention their YSL heels and tights look. Cyrus opted for the label’s 110 pumps in black satin, in which crystals are embellished on the stiletto. “IK was born to run. She grabbed the shoe with a black ruched body suit from Self-Portrait and leather decorated gloves from the line of David Koma ’21. In addition, Cyrus wore a Chanel drop chain strap.
