Midnight Mania! Daniel Cormier before-and-after video appears dramatic weight loss ahead of UFC 252

Welcome to Midnight Mania!

After all, Daniel Cormier is working extremely hard to get his Heavyweight title back from Support Miocic on Saturday night (August 15, 2020) at UFC 252 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The former double champion has spoken several times about his commitment and intensity to prove himself the better man, and we are only a few days away from that match.

Also by all accounts – including his own! – Cormier loves food. After all, this is the man who earned himself a Carl’s Jr. sponsorship after he complained that Derrick Lewis stole his chance from Popeye. As a result of such dubious eating habits, it is not uncommon for the 5’11 ”Heavyweight to balloon in weight in the offseason.

As it turned out, so was the case after his loss to Miocic. Cormier posted the following video earlier today, giving some behind-the-scenes info on his fitness.

‘Quick look at my journey from April to now,’ Cormier wrote. ‘I was on that diet of a big boy, but today I feel ready to go. It was hard, but we got back in shape and ready to fight. ”

Supposedly, we did not get a side-by-side body comparison, but the difference is clear. Cormier does not look healthy in the April flashback, leaving ready to fight for five rounds. Fast forward to the modern day, and “DC” looks as fit as he has ever been as a Heavyweight.

For absolute top-tier analysis, check out teammate Cormier Khabib Nurmagomedov, who simply responded to the post, “My Fat Friend.”

Insomnia

The feud between Yair Rodriguez and Zabit Magomedsharipov continues, but will it ever result in a fight?

I’m not trying to judge tattoos, but … if this “bird” is intentional, it’s hilarious. If not, it’s a shame.

The story behind Beneil Dariush’s incredible spinning fist over Scott Holtzman (see it!) Is awesome.

Derrick Lewis’ bowel movements have been a recurring story throughout his career, which cannot be said for most athletes.

Happy Shark Week!

Since Michael Chandler just knocked out Benson Henderson (from Southpaw?!?), He’s probably a good man to listen to when it comes to building explosive power.

Ties, rips, and KO clips

Punching through a kick works well as well as terrible. There is rarely a middle ground.

“GIVE UP!”

Haraguchi pulled his weight really backwards, making a really strong lead hook.

Midnight Music: Blood on the tracks is fantastic as a whole, but I will admit that this track just appeared while I had music on shuffle.

Sleep well Maniacs! More martial arts madness is always on the way.
