One of the UFC’s top middleweight prospects is looking a long time away from the Octagon.
Brendan Allen suffered three broken bones in his face in a fight with Kyle Daukaus at UFC Fight Night on Saturday night in Las Vegas, Allen manager Brian Butler tweeted on Sunday.
UPDATE: @BrendanAllenMMA suffered 3 fractures to his nose and orbital floor in the fight the last few nights. It was probably the rest of the year, but considering returning to 205 pounds. pic.twitter.com/ZliF22QY7e

Butler told ESPN that Allen broke two bones in the orbital floor and one in the nose. Allen ended up winning the match by unanimous decision.
Butler tweeted that Allen will likely be out for the rest of the year due to injuries, though he could consider a return from a heavyweight category at light heavyweight.
Allen (15-3) has won seven straight fights, including his first three in the UFC. The Louisiana native, who trains at Roufusport in Milwaukee, had finished three fights in a row through Saturday night. Allen, 24, is the former LFA middleweight champion and signed with the UFC in 2019.
