The Microsoft Surface Duo announced last October appeared in a new set of renderers shared by trusted reader Evan Blass.
The images show the smartphone closed and open. The front panel has a clean Microsoft logo, and when opened, you can see a flash next to the camera in the top right corner, which is a new addition.

The images also show the Google Search widget on the first screen along with the date and time widget, with the dock at the bottom with three apps – Microsoft Edge, OneNote and Outlook.
The dock on the second screen has Google’s phone, messaging and camera apps, with the home screen containing Microsoft and third-party apps. You can also view two folders, group Microsoft and Google apps, with a shortcut below to open Edge and OneNote at the same time to take advantage of two screens.
This feature is probably called “app groups”, so you can create a few apps that you often use at the same time, so you can open them both at the same time.
Blass says this is the AT&T model, but we do not see any carrier brands on the smartphone. At least not on the front.
The Microsoft Surface Duo would have expected it in July, but that did not happen. However, Microsoft has reportedly invited its MVPs to attend one virtual briefing for the Surface Duo on August 12th, which means the Redmond-based tech giant was able to release the foldable smartphone this month.
