Microsoft Flight Sim Dev ‘Working Full Speed’ On Xbox Console Version

Microsoft Flight Sim Dev 'Full Speed Operation on Xbox Console Version'

Microsoft Flight Simulator released to critical acclaim earlier this week via PC and Xbox Game Pass, but there’s one more big question on the minds of many people – when will it come to console?

It was noticed a few months ago by Xbox boss Phil Spencer that the game is aimed at Xbox Series X alongside the previously announced Xbox One, but we have not had an update since then … until now.

Speaking of the latest Major Nelson podcast, head of Microsoft Flight Simulator Jorg Neumann was immediately asked when we can expect a console version, and gave the following answer:

“We’re dedicated to Xbox (console), we’re working really hard to make it happen. We do not have a timeline yet, but we are working at full speed. Because we know it’s important.”

Both Neumann and Major Nelson also mentioned that they are bombarded with requests for a console version, so you can be sure that the Flight Sim team is well aware of the question! Hopefully, it won’t be too long before we can take to the air from the comfort of our living room on Xbox One and Xbox Series X.

When do you think Flight Sim will be coming to console? Give us your predictions in the comments.
