Microsoft will hold its Xbox Series X gaming event on July 23 at 9 am PT / 12 pm ET. The company plans to show games created by Xbox Game Studios, including Halo Infinite. 343 industries mocked briefly Halo Infinite in a trailer a couple of weeks ago, revealing that the antagonists of The Banished are back for the next big installment in the aura franchise.
There will be more than just aura, even if. Microsoft has been constantly acquiring game studios, and the company now has 15 Xbox Game Studios in total. Xbox fans are now waiting to see what those studios are working on for the Xbox Series X. Microsoft recently created a Fable Placeholder Twitter account, leading fans to wonder if the game could return during the Xbox event in July. Microsoft also recently extended its Fable trademark to cover USB chargers, portable speakers, headphones and more.
Since Microsoft released a Hellblade 2 Teaser during their Xbox Series X presentation last year, it is reasonable to assume that we will see more of Ninja Theory about this upcoming title. Psychonauts 2 is still due in 2020 from Microsoft’s Double Fine studio, and there will surely be some indication of how Force and Gears of war will fit the most powerful hardware in the Xbox X series.
Rare also unveiled his new Everwild game in November, and we could get a closer look at it during the Microsoft event. And as always, Xbox fans still expect surprises like a new Perfect dark or Banjo-Kazooie game.
Microsoft has already promised that some of the company’s Xbox Game Studios teams will reveal new games, Xbox Series X-optimized games, and even new game announcements.
Stay tuned The edge July 23 for all the latest information on Xbox Series X games and more.
