Michelle branch opens after miscarriage, thanks to husband Patrick Carney for support


The “Everywhere” singer went on to thank her husband Black Key drummer Patrick Carney, as well as her sister, for their support during difficult times.

“But alas, between crying Christmas cookies and eating island, I decided to put on lipstick and a dress. We drank champagne alllll day. Made incredible meals and sang Christmas songs that were consumed by the roaring fire, ”the branch wrote. “Five more days until 2021. I’m lustful for completing the finish line.”

Her emotional post included a slideshow of family snapshots, one of which lasted until Carney, and her new toddler son and teenage daughter.

“These people, my precious family, my husband, sister and children belong to MVP.” “I couldn’t imagine spending years alone with anyone else. Merry Christmas, everyone.”

Branch and Carney began dating in 2015, and fell in love while working on her 2017 album, Disappointing Romantic, Which he produced. The couple got married in New Orleans last year. The celebrity couple shared a 2-year-old son, Rice James.

Branch is also the mother of her 15-year-old daughter Owen, whom she shares with ex-husband Teddy Lyndo. They divorced in 2015.
