Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch has been sold to a billionaire


LOS ANGELES (AP) – Michael Jackson’s Neverland ranch in California has got the new owner of billionaire businessman Ron Berkeley.

Berkeley sees Londa as a banking opportunity in the 2,700-acre property in Los Olivos near Santa Barbara, his spokesman said in an email Thursday.

The Wall Street Journal reports The property was sold to Burkel for 22 22 million, a co-founder of the late Pop Star co-founder and investment firm Ucipa.

The asking price of the property dropped from 100 100 million in 2016 to 67 67 million a year later.

In addition to the 12,500-square-foot main residence and 3,700-square-foot pool house, the property has a separate building with a 50-seat movie theater and dance studio.

Other amenities on the ranch include a “Disney-style” train station, fire house and pantry.

A Berkeley spokesman said the billionaire was keeping an eye on Lake Zaka for the new Soho House, the same club of members with locations in New Soho House, Los Angeles, Miami, New York and Toronto. Berkeley eventually decided that location was too remote and expensive for the club.

Berkeley is the controlling shareholder of Soho House.

After Berkeley saw the property from the air, he placed a purchase offer.
