Michael Brokers wouldn’t mind if he didn’t have to chase Russell Wilson twice a season now.
The Los Angeles Rams have been seen playing a friction between defensive lineman Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks this se fisson no. In an interview with the NFL Network, the brokers said they would not be sad to see someone other than Wilson play.
“You cross your fingers a little bit,” Brookers said via Kevin Patra of NFL.com. “You hope what you hear is true, and it’s out of here, so you don’t have to chase it twice a year. Mostly, he’s an exceptional player, but if he leaves the part and he makes it a little easier for us, man, everyone for him. “
The Brokers have faced Wilson a total of 19 times between the regular season and the playoffs during his nine seasons in the NFL. Both Wilson and Brokers entered the league in 2012 with their respective teams. Broker and Rams have been fairly successful against Wilson. They have a 10-8 record in the regular season and beat the Seahawks in the wild card round of playoffs in Seattle in January.
The brokers themselves have managed only 1.5 sacks of Wilson in all games against Wilson.
Wills has expressed a bit of frustration with this season six and the people around him have also expressed their dissatisfaction. But it doesn’t look like the relationship is so strained that Wilson will play somewhere else in 2021. At least not yet.
