Melania Trump, 50, opted for a doll of color when she joined Donald Trump, 74, in Baltimore, Maryland yesterday. She was wearing a bright fit-and-flare gown, but one detail of the dress seemed to confuse social media users.
The sleeveless item had a high neck and a ribbon with black bands on both sides.
The striking number remained out in a full pleated midi skirt that cut off just above her ankles.
According to reports, the dress by fashion house Jason Wu has similar designs for around £ 600.
Melania completed the look with a pair of tight heels, featuring her favorite Manolo Blahnik classic black pumps – costing £ 515.

She stuck to her signature of makeup and wore a smokey eye with bare lip gloss.
Melania soon garnered attention on social media when Twitter users commented on her outfit choice.
Some viewers were confused by their dress and asked for answers online.
While some were unsure of the outfit, other social media users took more of the dress.
A Twitter user wrote: “Melania Trump is gorgeous in that pink dress. So elegant.”
