Meghan Markle may have moved from the British royal family all the way across the pond, but some things have not changed for her yet.
According to reports, the new staff of the Duchess of Sussex at her mansion in California made ‘impressions’ of the former actor, after taking a bit of a British accent and some words and expressions after spending two years as royal in the United Kingdom.
A source spilled the beans after The sun about everything that comes down behind closed doors at her new hometown of Santa Barbara: “Meghan was the whole American girl before she met Harry, but since living in the UK she has adopted certain phrases.”
‘Her staff think it’s amusing to listen to an American celebrity with the help of Britishism. She has often been heard saying, ‘Oh dahling,’ to people at home, “the source said.
‘They giggle about it and sometimes they impress her, but only in a light way. It’s funny to her. The staff there also loves Harry’s accent. Se adore him. He is very manly and staff were shocked by how down-to-earth he is as a royal, ‘the insider added.
“He just wants to live a more normal life now in California and enjoy family time,” it was further revealed.
According to the grape grower, while Meghan has mixed a bit of British vocabulary into her lingo, Prince Harry will also follow suit by including a few American words.
“Without a doubt, he will soon start grabbing Americans and will ask staff to take out the trash,” the insider said.
