Real sources lashed out at new claims made by Meghan’s legal team in documents filed June 30 as part of her court case against the Post on Sunday. These legal documents, filed after a request from the defendant in the court case, made the surprising claim that Meghan was not allowed to defend herself, while not being protected from reports published in the press.
Sources called these allegations “ridiculous” and “irritating.”
One told The Sunday Times: “It is a ridiculous claim.
“It is very disappointing.
“The institution was doing everything possible to support it.
“Everyone was trying to help her.”
Another source told Sunday’s newspaper: “It is fiction and annoyance.”
And a third said: “It is completely inaccurate and total rubbish.”

This informant went on to say that the attendees “refuted as many unfounded stories as they could within reason” and “stretched their relationship with the media to the breaking point.”
Meghan’s legal team claimed she felt unprotected after Sunday’s Mail asked her to explain why she was “vulnerable” at the time she decided to print her private letter to her separated father, Thomas Markle Snr.
The legal documents read: “The Claimant had become the subject of a large number of false and damaging articles in the UK tabloid media, specifically the Defendant, causing her great emotional distress and damage to her mental health.
“Because her friends had never seen her in this state before, they were justly concerned about her well-being, specifically because she was pregnant, unprotected by the institution, and prohibited from defending herself.”
While this statement was first believed to be a blow to members of the Royal Family, a source told The Times earlier this week that Meghan was unhappy with her old communications team.
Meghan and Prince Harry were represented by the same public relations team at Kensington Palace as Kate and Prince William between May 2018 and spring 2019, when the Queen allowed the Sussexes to create their own home and found a new communication team at Buckingham Palace.
