The bombshell biography, Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family, was written by veteran royal reporters Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand. The book was created with the goal of “reshumanizing” two people who have been misrepresented in some faith.
Mr. Scobie, a royal correspondent for ABC, has revealed Meghan Markle’s last words to him.
The royal author claimed that Meghan told him, “It did not have to be that way.”
He wrote: “Employees who had been with the couple from day one mourn the end of what was a happy story: two people fall in love, get married, have a baby, serve the Queen, the end.”
However, things could not be otherwise.

Instead, the Sussexes were able to retire as senior members of the Royal Family, pursuing their own income and no longer performing official duties on behalf of the Crown.
In Finding Freedom, readers get a fully chronicled account of the couple’s relationship, from their first date at Soho House London.
Mr. Scobie said: ‘I think the really unique situation we found ourselves in was that a lot of the people close to Harry and Meghan – friends and people with whom they worked in the past and today – often felt that the characters developed on the pages of the British tabloids were very different from the people they knew. “
The royal commentator has treated the Royal Family since the engagement of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

“It was through our conversations with many of these sources and of course with our own reporting that we brought these stories to light.”
The book also explores concepts of racism, sexism and misogyny when it comes to Meghan’s treatment.
The author said that not having Meghan’s time in the Royal Family elaboration was a “missed opportunity”.
He added: “It’s such a missed opportunity.

“Because the Royal Family is truly modernizing, they need to represent modern society.
“And that’s a diverse society.
“And Meghan presented this golden opportunity to step into a new era.
“It was one of the big conversations around the time of the wedding. But it’s amazing how quickly the excitement for it disappeared.”

According to the authors, both the lack of support from the Royal Family and the treatment of the press ultimately led to the couple’s misfortune.
‘They felt very unsupported within the institution of the monarchy.
‘And it left them very vulnerable, because those words obviously stuck.
“They caused great damage.

“And I think that’s really why they are such a polarizing couple to this day.”
Mr. Scobie and Ms Durand tell the stories that the Duchess was difficult to work with as high maintenance in the monarchy, and leaks after it were a number of leaks that came from royal officials inside the palace.
‘I think the problems really came from the opinions and perceptions of the old guard who found Meghan’s way of doing things maybe a little brash or a little too different from a very traditional setting.
“And maybe that came across as a lack of respect for that tradition – I’ve heard that in comments over the years. But unfortunately, it comes down to some sort of cultural clash and maybe a touch of alienation.”
