The work, titled ‘Finding Freedom’, treats the departure of the Duke and Duchess as working royals and the move to North America. It was written by royal experts Omid Scooby and Caroline Durand.
They allege that Harry and Meghan were annoyed by the Queen’s choice of photographs placed on her desk during the 2019 Christmas broadcast.
For the occasion, the king placed four family photographs on the desk behind him.
They portrayed the Duke and Duchess Cam v Cambridge, Prince Philip, Prince Charles, the Duchess Corn f Cornwall and King George VI – the father of the Queen.
However, neither of them showed the Duke or Duchess of Sussex or their newborn son Archie.

The authors wrote: “Harry felt as if he and Meghan had been ousted by the organization for a long time and that was not part of his future.
“No one needed to look beyond the family photos displayed during the Queen’s speech on Christmas day.
In the green drawing room at Buckingham Palace, where the Queen gave her address, viewers saw black and white images of Cambridge and their children, Charles and Camilla, Prince Philip and King George VI of the Sovereign Father.
“Notably absent was a photo of Harry, Meghan and their new baby, Archie.

“Palace sources insisted the photos were chosen to represent a straight line of succession, but for Harry and Meghan, this was yet another sign that they needed to think in their own way.”
Harry and Megha announced their intention to stand down as senior members of the Royal Family in January of this year.
The couple said they wanted to be “financially independent” while sharing their time between Britain and North America.
After discussions with senior Royals they agreed to abandon their ‘Sussex Royal’ brand and pay the taxpayer money spent on renovating their property, Frogmore Cottage, near Windsor.

Russell Myers, editor of the Daily Mirror and co-host of Pod Save the Queen Podcast, claimed that Harry and Meghan were offended by the choice of photos.
Appearing on Channel 5’s documentary Meghan and Harry: The New Revelations He said: “The lack of photographs during the Queen’s Christmas speech had a clear effect on her.
“This book will tell you in detail how he felt about this.
“They thought it was a little bit, they got out.”
Harry and Meghan attended the final royal engagement of the 2020 Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey in late March.
After a short stay in Canada, they moved to Meghan’s home state of California, shortly before the coronavirus lockdown began.
During the lockdown, both the Duke and the Duchess were seen delivering supplies to vulnerable residents in Los Angeles.

Earlier this month, Netflix announced a deal with Harry and Meghan to create films, documentaries and children’s programs for the streaming giant.
