The work, titled ‘Finding Freedom’, treats the departure of the Duke and Duchess as working royals and the move to North America. It was written by royal experts Omid Scooby and Caroline Durand.

They allege that Harry and Meghan were annoyed by the Queen’s choice of photographs placed on her desk during the 2019 Christmas broadcast.

For the occasion, the king placed four family photographs on the desk behind him.

They portrayed the Duke and Duchess Cam v Cambridge, Prince Philip, Prince Charles, the Duchess Corn f Cornwall and King George VI – the father of the Queen.

However, neither of them showed the Duke or Duchess of Sussex or their newborn son Archie.
