Meghan Markle, judicial panic: the real source warns that “it will not end well for anyone” | Real | News

Meghan’s case is cause for concern for many at Buckingham Palace, the source has suggested. Speaking to the Times about documents submitted by the Duchess of Sussex’s lawyers on June 30, the source said: “No one believes this will end well. For anyone.”

Meghan launched a court case against the Post on Sunday after she released excerpts from a letter she sent to her father Thomas Markle Snr.

The court case, announced by Prince Harry in a scorching message in October last year, is exposing the Duchess of Sussex’s struggles with media scrutiny, her friends’ concerns for her well-being, and her relationship with the palace.

The last set of documents filed by her legal team after a Mail on Sunday request stated that Meghan was “unprotected by the institution”, leading many to believe that the duchess was referring to the royal family.

When asked to explain why the duchess was “vulnerable” at the time the newspaper printed her private letter to her father, Meghan’s legal team said, “The claimant had become the subject of a large number of articles. false and damaging by the UK tabloid media, specifically by the Respondent, which caused great emotional distress and damage to his mental health.

“Since her friends had never seen her in this state before, they were justly concerned about her well-being, specifically because she was pregnant, unprotected by the institution, and prohibited from defending herself.”

However, the Times source said this statement was not referring to any specific member of the Royal Family, but to Meghan’s former communications team based at Kensington Palace.

The duchess, the source explained, was particularly upset by the palace’s decision not to comment on two stories widely released by the press between 2018 and 2019.

The first concerned the resignation of her AP, Melissa Toubati, and the second story considered the relentless attacks on the Duchess of her half-sister Samantha Markle.

The communication team at Kensington Palace represented Meghan and Harry between May 2018 and the following spring, when it was announced that the Queen had agreed to the creation of House Sussex.

The Queen also allowed Meghan and Prince Harry to no longer share their communication equipment with Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, and Prince William, but instead to settle at Buckingham Palace.

When contacted Express.co.uk, Kensington Palace decided not to comment.

Meghan first spoke about being in the public eye during a candid interview with ITV announcer Tom Bradby.

While filming the documentary Harry & Meghan: An African Journey, focused on the Sussexes tour to South Africa, the journalist asked how she had been following her wedding and pregnancy.

Meghan said: “Look, any woman, especially when she is pregnant, you are really vulnerable and that was really a challenge.

“And then when you have a newborn, you know. And especially as a woman, it’s a lot.

“So you add this in addition to trying to be a new mom or trying to be a newlywed.”

“And, also, thanks for asking, because not many people have asked if I’m okay. But it is a very real thing to go behind the scenes.”

Bradby then asked, “And the answer is, would it be fair to say that it’s not okay, as it really has been a fight?”

“Yes,” replied Meghan.
