May City and country, The Duchess was apparently happy to help curate the voice and tone of the now defiled Sussex Royal feed, especially since she became a member of the royal family meaning Meghan needed her personal Instagram account deactivate and had to shut down her lifestyle blog, The Tig.

“Meghan wrote a lot of the posts even in the early days,” wrote authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand. “It was one of the things that kept her occupied during her last days of pregnancy.”

However, Meghan’s secret title created for the Sussex Royal account was the last duchess of the Duchess in writing and using her voice. During a livestream interview with female-oriented media platform The 19th, Meghan revealed that she’s excited to talk more about issues of femininity, gender differences, and racial injustice now that she’s living in her new home in Santa Barbara with Harry and their son, Archie Mountbatten-Windsor.
“I think to see the changes that are being made right now is … what I look forward to being a part of,” Meghan said. “And part of using my voice in a way I could not for a long time. So, yes, it’s good to be home.”
