Meghan is pregnant with her second child, a spokesman for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex confirmed to CNN on Sunday.
“We can confirm that Archie will be the big brother,” the spokesman said. “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are delighted to be expecting their second child.”
Their first child Archie is 19 months old.
In December, Harry and Meghan released a family Christmas card featuring Archie in their first public image of the month.
The image, which looked like an illustration, was Archie’s first glimpse since his first birthday in May. Harry and Meghan have been staunch defenders of Archie’s privacy and claimed her paparazzi photos in July.
The couple announced in November that Meghan had suffered a miscarriage in the summer.
Harry and Meghan returned from the role of members of the British royal family early last year and moved to Santa Barbara, California in July.
