A month after Megan Thee Stallion was allegedly shot in the foot by Tory Lanez, she posted pictures taken at the hospital after her surgery.
On Wednesday (August 19), she shared graphic images of crosses in her height and the doctors inspected her. Megan posted a statement along with the graphic images that showed what happened when she was shot and why she wanted to expose herself, after people asked her how she got her new no. 1 collaboration with Cardi B could celebrate when “WAP” on top opened Billboard Hot 100 this week (dated August 22).
Lol what I have learned on majority of people on social media is like to hear bad news before good news, a lie spread faster than the truth, and you will really believe that the sh– YALL make up, “she wrote in the title. “I was hit in the back of the foot, because when I shot, I WAS READY FOR THE BACK. Why would I stay lying down to get shot? Why are you so overwhelmed that I’m not sad in the why do you want to send me over so I can run? “
She went on to say, “I got my stitches out of my feet like 2 weeks ago and I was ready to celebrate WAP go number 1 … I don’t normally target internet bulls– but you people are so sick! God was really looking over me and I heal so well! Sorry I’m not as sad and miserable as many you lol, but I remain Megan Thee Mf STALLION. “
The 25-year-old rapper shared her first statement about the shooting on July 15, three days after she “suffered multiple wounds as a result of a crime committed against me and committed with intent to physically harm me.” On July 12th TMZ first reported that police found Lanez and arrested him on a criminal count of carrying a concealed weapon in a car where Megan (real name Megan Pete) and another woman were inside after officers were disturbed in Hollywood at 4 p.m. Hills.
According to TMZ, an argument ensued and someone fired shots into the air before leaving. It was said that Megan had suffered a cut on her foot from the broken glass of the car.
She later stated in her first post-shooter post that she was not arrested during the incident, but was driven to the hospital to undergo surgery to remove the bullets from her foot.
Two days later on July 17, Megan posted another statement on social media after memes about her shooting surfaced on the internet. “Black women are so unprotected and we hold so many things in place to protect the feelings of others w / o seeing our own,” she tweeted at the time. “It might be funny to be on the internet and just another messy topic for you to talk about, but this is my real life and I’m really hurt and traumatized.”
